Are you thinking about starting a home and/or internet business but are afraid that it will be too expensive?
Fear of excessive out-of-pocket costs will certainly be the first, if not most important thing you confront when starting a home-based business of any kind.
And you know what? The fear is completely valid.
After all, you've got a mortgage/rent, a car payment (or two), insurance, utilities, credit card bills, daycare for the kids, the list goes on and on - of course it's natural to wonder if there's enough left at the end of the month to invest in starting a business at home.
What I hope to accomplish with this site is to offer you affordable options and resources to begin your home-based business or to complement what you are already doing.
I also highlight some of the mistakes I have made that resulted in losing tremendous amounts of money and maybe even more importantly, time. Everything I have learned,
I have learned the hard way - all trial and error. Maybe that isn't the smartest way to go about doing things, but I'll be honest with you about why that route seemed the only way for me.
There are many "experts" and "gurus" out there with "reveal-all ebooks", "mind-blowing secrets" and "proven systems" that will promise to teach you how to make money on the internet even if you've never tried it before. Well, you might not have the money to buy all their "closely-guarded secrets" and "guaranteed tactics" and chances are, you sure don't have the time to read/study all of them. (I'm sure that by now you can tell that I don't like all the hype buzzwords used to market the knowledge that people wrap up in a book and try to sell to anyone who will buy it.) If you're going to buy something, you want to buy it for the incredible content, not because someone used some flashy words and tricked you into it - not unlike an unscrupulous used car salesman.
Anyway, back to my point - and I do have one.

Not investing in anything from these "gurus" can turn out to be a double-edged sword.
On one hand, you can save a lot of money because tons of the information out there is just rehashed from some ebook some other "guru" has already written and is really just
common sense wrapped up to appear like something new. They are also mostly filled
with many of their own sales and affiliate links so they can make more money off of you, instead of teaching you to make money like they promised.
On the other side, you can miss out on a lot of worthwhile information that can at least prevent you from wasting so much money and time, even if they don't end up helping you to MAKE any money. Believe it or not, there are a FEW shining stars out there who really know what they're doing and won't just use it to drain your bank account.
Most importantly, what I learned through all my trial and error is that determination needs to become your number one personality trait and that your focus needs to be sharp and remain steady, instead of being easily distracted by the "next best thing".
Why am I telling you all this? Basically, I want to help you avoid all the mistakes that I made and pitfalls that I stepped into, and help see us both through to our common goal - being able to work at home and more thoroughly enjoy our lives.
